The staff were courteous and very helpful — they even kept our bags before check-in so we could explore the city without carrying everything around. "It was a beautiful day when I was there, so I tried to find a spot to sit outside in the sunshine. There was a ground-floor area outside of the breakfast area that was closed midday, and another area outside of the main-floor restaurant that was only accessible if you were in the restaurant. It would have been nice to be able to sit in either of these areas and enjoy the lovely weather, but both were effectively off limits. The main floor restaurant was closed in the afternoon, so the outside area was also closed. Thanks."
